Kalat, also known as Kalati Nadiri is a viallage in north eastern Iran east of Quchan. It wasthe site of the stronghold and treasury of Nadir Shah Afshar, ruler of Iran from 1736 to 1747.

Faltweaves including Sofrehs and bags are woven here as well as brightly coloured knotted rugs.
