Salt Bags or Namakdans are bags of distinctive shape with a neck or spout. They are traditionally used to store salt or grain. Most are of a flatweave structure but some have one face piled. These bags are most commonly attributed to the Afshars, the Balouch, the Bakhtiyari, the Lurs and the Shahsavan tribes.
